Zedd joins Bud Light Platinum, will debut new music with Grammy campaign
Bud Light Platinum has maintained a strong presence within the dance music community since advertising with Avicii during the Super Bowl in 2012 and getting behind Sensation’s run in the United States. Now upon Grammy weekend, the company has ordained Zedd — an electronic artist with a nomination of his own — to lead their newest campaign.
Going by “Turn Up Your Night,” the campaign will debut an exclusive new original from Zedd with its 15-second commercial slot during Sunday’s Grammy Awards. The track is entitled “Find You,” and features vocalists Matthew Koma and Miriam Bryant. Zedd refers to the collaboration with Bud Light Platinum as “natural and organic,” a seemingly similar feel to work on the record itself.
“Once Miriam and Matt sang their parts on ‘Find You,’ it was impossible to fake that emotion, which is the reason I kept both on the song. Whenever I need help on a top-line they are my go-to people. From the first to the last note, ‘Find You’ took almost half a year to finish”
Aside from performing during Universal Music Group’s Grammy showcase on the eve of the ceremony, Zedd foresees a future of partnering with Bud Light Platinum, having already “brainstormed and thought of many unique creative ways of working” with the brand.
