A-Trak returns to new project Low Pros, gives away ‘100 Bottles (feat. Travi$ Scott)’
Releasing the second track behind the new Low Pros moniker, turn-table master A-Trak and trap pioneer Lex Luger join forces with the rapidly rising Travi$ Scott and festival-resident Brillz for “100 Bottles.” With foresight well beyond their young years, the production duo lay an intense landscape with sharp synth stabs and 808 snare hits. Tapping the skills of the young rapper that has been cosigned by both Kanye West and T.I., constant “La Flame” ad-libs add sharpness to his harmonic style of processed vocal before a serious yet not overpowering synth section breaks through. While the track’s destiny is uncertain for now, “100 Bottles” may eventually find its place on the Low Pros’ debut EP to come later this year.
