Annie Mac premieres Grum’s ‘Tears’

Less than a week after unveiling his remix package for “In Love,” Leeds’ loveliest is back with a brand new original. Premiered by Annie Mac is Grum‘s “Tears,” a little slice of nu disco happiness wrapped in an indie dance bow. At once new wave and old school, the track abandons the progressive elements that have marked recent originals and goes straight back to the feel-good danceability that first put the producer’s name on the music world’s lips. Though a distorted vocal claims the track to be the sound of tears falling, with an infectious plucky melody backed by swelling synths and a snaps-laden percussion line, “Tears” proves to be anything but. No word on if the track will appear on the much-anticipated Human Touch album, but you’ll be able to snap up the single on April 7th.

Release Date: April 7th
