Armin van Buuren, Deadmau5, DVBBS & Borgeous up for JUNO award
Canada’s JUNO Awards have revealed their nominees and some familiar names made the cut. While the committee reserves its nominations for native talent, this year saw a few Canadian by association producers find their way on the list. Up for Dance Recording of the Year is Armin van Buuren‘s collaboration with Canadian vocalist Trevor Guthrie, “This is What it Feels Like,” Ontario’s DVBBS brother’s smash with Borgeous, “Tsunami,” Mia Martina’s “Heartbreaker,” Jacynthe’s “Locked Down,” and deadmau5‘s >album title goes here<, which made its way in as the only full album to be nominated. The broadcast will air on March 30th at the MTS Center in Winnipeg, making the final day of Miami Music Week that much sweeter for the act that walks away with the statue.
