Something about this record is eerily reminiscent of Chuckie‘s production style circa 2009 or 2010. It’s beat-driven, club-geared, with a Dirty Dutch stamp that comes more organically. Tip of the cap to Chuckie for “Dirty Funkin’ Beats,” his latest release via Big Beat following an opposing hip-hop collaboration on “Makin’ Paper.” Far from a pop-hit and certainly not generic festival house, the aptly titled “Dirty Funkin’ Beats” is a production that will delight long-time fans — a Chuckie record that’s very “We Can’t Hear Anybody Out There.”
