Dancing Astronaut’s soundtrack to Groove Cruise X

Dancing Astronaut's soundtrack to Groove Cruise X

We set sail from the port of Miami to the sunny beaches of Cozumel on board the Norwegian Cruise Line Pearl. We heard numerous tunes, went to numerous parties in many settings, and had an absolute blast on a cruise ship the size of a city. Here are a few of the memorable tunes that made The Groove Cruise one hell of a ride.

10. Funkagenda - Paragon

If Funkagenda’s “Paragon” doesn’t set in you the mood for some serious banter – nothing will.

9. Markus Schulz - Remember This

The King of The Groove Cruise himself closed out the wild ride with a very imaginative five hour set. “Remember This” just put a staple on a full capacity show.

8. Dyro - Black Smoke

While Dyro wasn’t on the cruise himself, “Black Smoke” was one of the most played tracks by far.

7. Deniz Koyu - Ruby

Deniz Koyu’s “Ruby” was released on Axwell’s imprint Axtone Records, but it’s coming out party was definitely on GCX.

6. Hot Since 82 - Don't Be Afraid

Hot Since 82’s “Dont Be Afraid” was played at the after hours on a few occasions and, surprisingly, everyone was still there dancing the night (morning) away.

5. Michael Woods - CTRL

What’s there to say? Michael Woods played two boat-rocking sets and “CTRL” stole the show on both instances.

4. Sick Individuals & Axwell - I Am (Deorro Remix)

This song was already a chart topper, then Deorro had to come in and make it a straight party.

3. Galantis - Smile

This track just makes you feel good and everyone — and I repeat, everyone — felt good on the Groove Cruise.

2. Storm Queen - Look Right Through (MK Dub)

Just a big time remix from Marc Kinchen which was played on the mainstage, the side stage, and everywhere in between.

1. Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness (Cedric Gervais Remix)

Cedric just won a Grammy for this remix. Cedric then played this remix on the Groove Cruise. Put the two and two together – what do you think happened?
