For the second time in a row during his new residency on BBC Radio 1, Steve Angello has previewed a new Tom Staar production. Last time it was “Rocket” which was released on Toolroom Records, now it’s a remix of Dansson and Marlon Hoffstadt’s “Shake That.” The eccentric British producer infuses the mix with his trademark energetic climax, although the original’s catchy vocals remain largely intact. With a plethora of support from dance music’s heavy hitters, Tom Staar has proven that his ascent up dance music’s ranks will certainly continue during 2014.
