In the aftermath of the a number of hospitalizations following a show in Belfast, the city council of Edinburgh revoked the event license for the I AM HARDWELL stop slated for tomorrow evening. Citing a collaborative decision reached by municipal government, a licensing board, police, and the event organizer, the show’s promoter announced the cancellation was done for safety reasons. At press time, it was still unknown whether a substitute date would be booked or if refunds would be given.

Fans quickly took to the organizer’s Facebook page, expressing their discontent. “For a start, Belfast was an over 16 event, Edinburgh is over 18. All they have to do is ID and search everyone,” said one commenter.
