Kill The Buzz takes reigns of retrospective Revealed Recordings 2013 compilation
Four tracks strong and making considerable footprints on the global circuit, Kill The Buzz emerged from 2013 as one of Revealed Recording’s prized next generation talents. Now, the affirmative newcomer follows-on from “Life Is Calling” alongside JoeySuki with a formal step up to the imprint’s popular compilation series. Label favorites and seasoned newcomers alike make up this 17-track exploration of the imprint’s most triumphant year to date, with a continuous mix showcasing the Dutch breakout’s ability to match the full-length experience that has been somewhat perfected by label-head turned industry heavyweight Hardwell.
On being selected to take their reigns from where Dannic & Dyro left off with 2012’s instalment, he explained: “This was a big honor for me. I am thrilled to be part of the label and so to have something this prolific for Revealed meant a lot. It was a challenge to make the overall experience as much about my own sound and approach as it was spotlight what the label does best. These tracks have already had a huge spotlight, so you want to make the process interesting rather than just a repetition of huge material. It was a fun task though and I am proud to have stepped up to the mark for them.”
With an impending remix for Armada’s tenth year anniversary celebrations, new solo cuts primed for Revealed later in the year and extensive European tour duties ahead, Kill The Buzz is aiming for a marker year. If the sound of 2013 is anything to go by, the New Year looks certain to entail more affirmative action from this European stronghold and its ever expanding roster of talents.
