Movement returns to Detroit’s Hart Plaza this coming Memorial Day Weekend and has just announced the second phase of its lineup announcement. With a phase 1 billing that satisfied its techno-centric fanbase, Movement’s phase 2 announcement comes with a bit of a twist. Plenty of the usual suspects have made their way back to the techno mecca including Marco Carola, Maceo Plex, Bicep, Kevin Saunderson and John Digweed but perhaps it is the crossover acts and trap music stars on the Mad Decent label that will raise the most eyebrows at this year’s festival. Baauer, RiFF RAFF, DJ Snake, Flosstradamus and Just Blaze have all been added to the high-brow festival’s roster, rubbing elbows with Claude VonStroke, Jimmy Edgar and more.
