Taches – Turn of Phrase (Original Mix)
It’s already been a productive year for camp Nurvous Records. Their second cut of 2014 doesn’t skimp on those quality house hallmarks, employing London’s Taches to keep the fire burning for club land’s left-of-field in the first quarter. “Turn Of Phrase” taps into the gritty underground house sound that numerous labels junior to Nurvous have been pursuing of late. As a minimalistic point of reference to the power of a solid beat primed for powerful sound systems, Taches is the sort of genre contender that reminds you how creatively disillusioned so many of his industry peers have become of late. We’re still waiting for Nurvous to drop their guard and drop a dud track here in 2014, but for now, they host yet another irrefutable example of why Taches is a future star worth bucking an ear for.
