Ultra Music Festival and Swedish House Mafia facing lawsuit after 2013 UMF accident

Last year tragedy struck Ultra Music Festival when stage lights fell during the final prep phase before the festival’s first day, leaving numerous people critically injured. One man, whose legs were shattered by the lights, is now suing not only Ultra Music Festival but Swedish House Mafia as an entity and Ingrosso, Angello and Axwell as individual defendants in the case.

Joey Green, an equipment tech, had both his legs crushed last year when the LED lights he was installing fell on top of him and several other people.

According to Miami New Times, the lawsuit was filed on February 10th and first reported by the Daily Business review.

We checked the Miami-Dade County Clerk’s documents filed on that date and unearthed the complete defendant list.
