Creamfields announces opening day lineup for 2014
Having already announced a jam-packed lineup for their 20104 leg of the festival, Creamfields has added an impressive first day of music to proceedings for the Friday sitting of the celebrated Bank Holiday showdown. It comes two years down the line from an unfortunate washout that saw the festival’s second day cancelled, but was more than made up for with one of their most successful stints to date in 2013.
At the helm of the newly announced Friday runnings stands Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Steve Aoki, who bring their 3 Are Legend to the spotlight for headline duties. Sander Van Doorn, Firebeatz, Ummet Ozcan and Kryder represent a formidable run of international talent to accompany this UK first outing for 3 Are Legend, who make their live debut in Miami on March 28.
Mixmag holds the drum & bass remits with headline action from both Sub Focus and Andy C, leaving Riva Starr and MJ Cole to front the Snatch Arena Silent Disco and Thomas Gold, Deniz Koyu and Danny Avila to hold the Nation stage.
With no shortage of UK festivals on offer for 2014, Creamfields may have just upped the stakes significantly enroute to the summer clubbing season.
