Duck Sauce – NRG (Skrillex, Kill the Noise, Milo & Otis Remix)
Duck Sauce has been teasing their debut album Quack for months now. As the impending release edges closer, more material continues to surface. The latest is a three-way collaboration between the talented hands of Skrillex, Kill the Noise, and Milo & Otis. While all three artists have established their own sound, their remix to “NRG” blends elements of each respective sonic style. While the intro boasts the feel-good disco overtones of Duck Sauce, the subsequent first drop is anything but delicate. Screeching synths alternate between octaves with a similar jarring effect to DJ Snake’s remix of “It’s You.” The final drop returns to the celebratory vibe initiated by the “NRG” sample, ending the remix on a positive note.
