After previewing their upcoming Dynasty EP by way of a quick mini-mix, KOAN Sound have uploaded the full version of the lead track, “Dynasty.” Beginning with some oriental strings and a cinematic atmosphere set for a classic kung fu film, the Bristol bass music duo proceed to lay down some incredibly chunky neuro and glitch hop. With interwoven basses, slicing percussion, and plenty of quirky resampling, “Dynasty” embodies the kind of glitchy eccentricity for which KOAN Sound is renowned. The full EP is set for release on OWSLA on April 1st.
