Russian upstarts Matisse & Sadko rebound to production duties with an inevitable return to Doorn Records. Although the duo closed out 2013 with a flurry of releases, they’ve been relatively quiet during the first three months of the new year — until now, that is. Matisse & Sadko’s latest work features a dazzling melodic breakdown in advance of a drum-laden buildup, before a boisterous pinnacle gains control and provides the track’s focal point. Having kickstarted their career with more melodic outputs, Matisse & Sadko look to rank among dance music’s list of big room contenders with their impending release of “Sigure.”
