Moving away from his own Little Idiot imprint, the electronic music titan has teamed up with Lucky Date for “Delay.” The peculiar collaboration utilizes a bevy of high-pitched synths among a grinding bassline and well placed vocal samples. Although the two producers may not immediately come to mind as a likely pair, “Delay” has all the ingredients of a release that will be heard all spring long on dance music’s largest stages.
