Recess unveils spring campus tour focused on electronic music and entrepreneurship
Recess is on a roll lately. Backed by a slate of investors that includes Mark Cuban, the college music and ideas festival this week unveiled a seven-college spring tour aimed at inspiring entrepreneurship and bringing electronic music to the masses. Featuring headliners Diplo and Paper Diamond, Recess will pair dance music performances with startup seminars, networking events, progressive speakers and a business pitch competition.
“Recess curates the best day of college by bringing together successful entrepreneurs, the coolest new startups and the hottest acts in music to campuses across the country,” said co-founder Jack Shannon. “Our mission is to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs that will change the landscape of tomorrow’s businesses while offering participating brands unprecedented campus access to activate students.
