Sigma – Nobody To Love (Grum Remix)
While those outside of the drum n’ bass spectrum may not be familiar with the name Sigma, it takes less than 30 seconds for the UK pair’s latest single to strike a recognized chord. Pulling the choir-like vocals from Kanye West’s “Bound 2,” the duo build an upbeat, beat-heavy framework in the place of the fragmented host track, but Grum takes the tune one further with his remix. Progressive a la Pryda, the iteration proves an irresistible combination of synth and soul stitched together with a smiling quarter note beat. Set for release alongside Sigma’s original on the same day that his Human Touch album hits shelves, it is safe to say that Grum is more than ready for his close up.
