Steve Angello gives away Size Records, entire catalog due March 27th
More would be in store for Steve Angello‘s Decade concept than the Miami Music Week showcasing. Also in celebration of Size aging ten years, Angello has teamed up with Google to give away the label’s catalogue of over 170 tracks for free to its US fans. The offering is the first outside-the-box appeal to supplement Size’s Decade, with most of the label’s music becoming available in the weeks leading up to the iconic event. The promise for free music via Google Play, which will feature more than 80 artists, is his way of thanking fans for their utmost support since 2003; “I don’t think that music should always be for free, but I think if there’s stuff that can be done the way we’ve done it now, I think labels should give it a try.”
Update: It’s been confirmed that the entire catalog will be available on March 27th, as well as free to fans internationally on April 1st. Begin browsing the releases now at size.net.
