Following in the footsteps of LE7ELS label boss Avicii, rising Estonian talent and DA artist-to-watch Syn Cole has made a name for himself by creating quality tunes with a satisfying mix of electro and progressive elements marked by addictively memorable melodies. His late 2013 single “Miami 82” stood out among the dance music community with a uniquely funky Miami Vice-inspired feel, later adopting the well-matched vocals of Los Angeles singer Madame Buttons.

Four months after the release of Avicii’s own edit, the label has now released its first batch of remixes for Syn Cole’s popular piece. Fellow LE7ELS roster-mates New World Sound kick off this package by giving Madame Buttons’s part a slight pitch adjustment, making way for an energetic and buzzing electro drop. Contrasting styles from the Aussie brothers, young Norwegian producer Kygo gives a chilled out, down-tempo rework greatly inspired by Syn Cole’s original melody. The third and last comes from Ibiza-based duo Los Suruba, who contribute a fluid tech house spin on the single, rounding out the first remix pack with impressive variety. If you’re one of the many who just can’t get enough of this sound, you’ll be happy to know that more remixes are on the way.
