Toronto’s Veld Music Festival finalizes phase 1 lineup

Joining Toronto’s dance music landscape two years ago, Veld Music Festival has emerged as one of the city’s best electronic music festivals. Graced by talent such as Avicii, Kaskade, Above & Beyond, and Toronto’s hometown hero deadmau5, Veld has quickly established itself as a playground for dance music’s A-listers. For its third weekend at Downsview Park, the festival has enlisted the talents of Calvin Harris, Sebastian Ingrosso, Nero, and W&W among returning artists such as Knife Party, Tommy Trash, and hometown favourites Manzone & Strong and Mark Oliver. Although it may still be a a relatively new addition to the summer’s lineup of events, Veld’s return to Toronto on August 2nd and 3rd will be a highlight of Canada’s jam-packed festival schedule.
