Avicii collaborates with Santana, Wyclef Jean, and Alexandre Pires for official 2014 FIFA World Cup Anthem
Defying boundaries of electronic music is no new game for Avicii, who looks to add to his extensive catalog of tracks with his latest achievement. The Swedish DJ has been honored with the privilege of collaborating to create the official 2014 Brazil FIFA World Cup Anthem, “Dar um Jeito (We Will Find A Way).” Together with musical superstars Carlos Santana, Wyclef Jean, and Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter Alexandre Pires, the esteemed anthem will be performed at the 2014 FIFA World Cup Closing Ceremony on July 13th.
The track was originally produced by Ash Pournouri, Carl Falk, Rami Yacoub and Wyclef Jean who later invited Avicii, Santana, and Pires to add their own personal flairs to the commemorative track. “I gave it a ‘Samba meets my dance music’ sound,” Avicii explains. “Which works perfectly for the positive spirit of the song.” Unfortunately, there is no preview of “Dar um Jeito (We Will Find A Way)” just yet, though the track will be officially released in late April, and will also be a part of the official 2014 FIFA World Cup Album.
