Melding new age clicking percussive elements with retro synths and a funky bass line, the track breathes new life into the Freak Nasty classic track that has been rocking dance parties for decades. The all too familiar lyric (and borderline infamous pop culture poetry) is the center of attention in the young artists’ remix, flush with new modern production. With enough old nostalgia for friends to enjoy, but crisper beats for the younger generation of music fans, the classic gets the update it needed.
