Davido – Skelewu (Major Lazer & Wiwek Remix)

Where many are familiar with Major Lazer, few have been acquainted to Wiwek. Already established and with a history of releasing some of the more frenetic offerings of dance music that’ve gone beneath the radar, Wiwek’s wacky and often tropical style finds him affiliate with Mad Decent and now pairing with Diplo and company in the studio. On a remix of Davido’s “Skelewu,” both the Major Lazer collective and Wiwek remain calm, toning down what would normal be an off-the-walls sound and finding common ground on a Caribbean, drum-lead vibe.
