This next release by French dance leader Gregori Klosman may cause the typical Klosmania fan to experience a sense of déjà vu. Adopting his own remix of Paloma Faith’s “Picking Up The Piece” from quite some time ago, the creative Parisian producer revives the lively instrumental as the original release, “Where’s My Money?”
Starring a sound bite of Aaron Paul’s beloved role as Jesse Pinkman in the ever-popular series Breaking Bad for pre-drop hype, this tasty tune employs a rhythmically funky and grinding lead in between sequences of soulfully harmonized progressions. For those wondering what happened to the Paloma Faith version, Klosman revealed he had received an impressive amount of requests for the remix, but hadn’t been picked up for official release. With his incredible Paris-based eight-studio complex freshly opened last month, Klosman has decided to pull the trigger on “Where’s My Money?” and release it on his own imprint, Guru Recordings.
