Channeling both his childhood and former drum ‘n’ bass roots under MRSA, Matan Zohar has been given the honor of remixing a Disney classic: The Lion King’s “Circle of Life.” Part of the official DCONSTRUCTED album uniting dance producers with iconic Disney songs, Mat Zo’s remix is possibly the most interesting of the bunch. Incorporating plenty of reese-styled lion roars and well-suited syncopation, Zo builds his drum ‘n’ bass production around the familiar uplifting chants of the original.
