SLS Las Vegas to open Labor Day Weekend in former location of Sahara Resort & Casino
After SBE and SLS hotel had an extremely successful week of parties in Miami, SLS has announced their new $415 million Las Vegas venue will open Labor Day Weekend. The grand opening will be held August 1st, almost 3 years and 3 months after the location’s former occupant, the Sahara Resort & Casino, shut down. The new hotel will boast 1,600 rooms, 800 slot machines, and 80 table games. SLS Las Vegas will operate differently from other properties by allowing SBE Entertainment Group to oversee all aspects of the hotel – usually casino companies license out amenities to third party operators. Expect some killer parties similar to what SBE offers in Hollywood, Miami, and New York. Continuing its trend, SLS will also open in Boston, Houston, and Philadelphia.
