Amid celebrations of a ten-year stand at the forefront of global house music, 2014 was always going to be a year of reflective resonance for Steve Angello and his Size Records imprint.  Whilst the giving away of their entire discography was a surefire head-turner surrounding Miami, a discography of this calibre was sure to be revisited by the label’s next generation crop. Originally released by the ex-Swedish House Mafia man in 2006 alongside B-side “Straight,” Angello’s coming of age rave offering “Teasing Mr Charlie” receives a 21^st century remodel courtesy of recurring label favorite Sebjak and relative newcomer Tony Senghore amid a year of much deserved nostalgia for the label and all artists associated along the way. In line with changing tides that have swept global house music over the past eight years, the new age duo unites to give the rigid house offering a backbone suited to the heavier set market. It’s legendary acid leads are honored, bringing the mix forward with percussive stamina and subtle big room hallmarks to allow no excuse for this early Angello bombshell to pass over the heads of a generation champing at the bit for the label’s newfangled club masterpieces.
