Miami-based trio Brass Knuckles enlist solo west coast producer The Cataracs for uncompromised party fuel just in time for festival season. With a joint, diverse set of musical influences, the American foursome display some serious chemistry in their latest Ultra Records release “Crack”. This adrenaline inducing electro piece features a descending series of thick bleep synths, eventually shifting gears and rhythm into a nice, bouncy trap section. As the vocal hook proclaims, “… It’s crack in the club when they drop this”, and Brass Knuckles and The Cataracs certainly deliver the appropriate amount of energy in “Crack” to back up this statement.
