Calvin Harris’ ‘Summer’ rises to the top of the UK charts
As of yesterday, Calvin Harris has reached the top spot of the UK charts for the fourth time as the lead artist and sixth time overall with his latest release “Summer.” The Official Charts company reported that the new single was over 7,000 copies ahead of Mr. Probz “Waves.” With the inclusion of “Summer” Harris has now had at least one single reach the top spot in the last four years; his previous no. 1’s include his 2008 hit with Dizzee Rascal “Dance Wiv Me,” 2009’s “I’m Not Alone,” 2011 chart topper alongside Rihanna in “We Found Love,” 2012’s “Sweet Nothing with Florence Welch, and last year’s “Under Control” with Alesso and Hurts.
