Deorro announces indefinite break from DJing, shifts his attention to PandaFunk

The past year has been kind to “Five Hours” producer Deorro, who has seen massive success and an increasingly hectic touring schedule. Last night, the artist took to Twitter to announce that he would be “quitting” DJing. Amongst the many reasons behind his break were three hard-hitting points; Deorro wants to spend more time with his family, produce more music, and shift his attention to building the PandaFunk dynasty – all ideas that he has stood behind since day one. Before officially signing off, he made one thing very clear: it’s all about the new talent, and he would be ready to jump back on the road if the stars align for a PandaFunk tour.

While Deorro’s departure from the touring life is sure to leave some disappointed, the shift of his attention towards the rising PandaFunk artists will surely result in incredible new music. From Zoofunktion‘s recent rise to Whyel‘s recent support from the likes of Dillon Francis, the label’s artists certainly demand their leader’s attention, and the prospect of further career pushes for these artists is extremely exciting.

Stay tuned – the PandaFunk family is about to hit the scene hard.
