Made in America release both Los Angeles and Philadelphia line ups
An idea which evolved rapidly from just a thought to reality in just a few weeks comes to life in the form of Los Angeles’ inaugural edition of Made in America. Previous festival line ups from the flagship Philadelphia event have included impressive arrays of artists from a variety of genres including hip-hop, rock, and more recently, dance music. Both events are slated to occur on August 30th and 31st, and fans from both East and West Coasts can look forward to the freshly announced staggering artist rosters.
Philadelphia claims Jay-Z prodigy Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Tiësto, and The National as headliners. The East Coast edition isn’t shy to include more than just a handful of electronic music familiars including Steve Aoki, Girl Talk, Chromeo, Grimes, R3hab, Gareth Emery, Baauer, Tommy Trash, 3LAU, Holy Ghost, Destructo, and more. Daft Punk collaborator and producer phenomenon Pharrell Williams is also scheduled to headline the Pennsylvania show.
On the side of the country, Los Angeles’ first ever Made in America festival is determined to make a lasting impression with Imagine Dragons, Kendrick Lamar, and John Mayer at the frontline. Steve Aoki, Gareth Emery, and R3hab will jet set from festival to festival, all of which are scheduled to headline in both Los Angeles and Philadelphia. Afrojack, Metric, Wolfgang Gartner, Borgore, DVBBS, 12th Planet, Classixx, Yellowclaw and more follow suit, making up a heavy representation of dance music on the West Coast.
