Another month, another Magic Tape, and the 43rd mix of the series is every bit as enjoyable as the 42 installments preceding it. The Magician digs deep into his bottomless bag of jams and puts together another hour of pure gold without relying on any obvious hits to get the job done. As always, his use of relatively obscure tracks leads to a comment section that’s two-thirds frantic ID requests. Another month, another brilliant Magic Tape, no big deal — he makes it look easy.
