SNL takes stab at EDM culture in new digital short featuring ‘Davvincii’

Known best for viral digital shorts such as “Dick in a Box” and “Jizz in my Pants,” Andy Samberg and the Lonely Island crew decided to use their latest SNL Digital Short to poke fun at the ridiculousness of the EDM craze with “Davvincii.” Centred upon DJs receiving copious bags of money for basically doing nothing behind the booth (besides pushing a giant bass button and playing Candy Crush), the rave-kids literally lose their minds as their heads explode on the dance floor. Sadly, the video captures DJ-culture precisely on point and is a nice reminder as to how the rest of the world (our parents) view the scene. That being said, we secretly hope Davvincii makes an appearance at EDC
