Watch This: MetroGnome remixes the iPhone ringtone with a Maschine and QuNeo

As music production hardware continues to elevate to new heights, artists are incorporating MIDI devices into their studios in completely mind-blowing ways. While Madeon showcased the potential of the Launchpad back in 2011, MetroGnome is making a compelling case for Native Instruments’ Maschine and Keith McMillen’s QuNeo in 2014.
Sampling various iPhone ringtones, MetroGnome layers and loops his own syncopated drum breaks before performing a vigorous dubstep sequence on both devices. At one point, the MIDI-master even breaks out an electric guitar and shreds alongside his live-crafted remix. It doesn’t get much more epic than this.
