Since their emergence on the scene, Zeds Dead has established a distinctly unmistakable sound. Marked by dark, complex synth arrangements and an affinity for overwhelmingly gritty waves of bass, the Canadian production duo has definitely delivered a brand of their own. However DC and Hooks cannot be confined by a genre. The two have dabbled in the realm of mind-bending acid house, with bulldozing trap, glitch-hop, and drum n’ bass all artfully conquered by the pair as well. The twosome are back with their latest material, in a collaboration with Hunter Siegel, this time dropping a grimy big room selection, that stays true to the duo’s one of a kind sound.

“Loud” is a bulldozing stampede of grumbling low end with a bouncy stomp to it. Distorted vocal cuts are thrown into sharp rapid-fire sirens. Then the tune’s pounding robotic synth work abruptly comes to a hard half time break with crisp hi hat rolls layered in. Their newest material brings the best of Zeds Dead through in this free download, just make sure your speakers aren’t up too loud.
