Justin Faust mastered the sound of summer a long time ago. His 2010 single “Holdin’ On” and 2012 remix of Picture Book’s “Sunshine” are the kind of playful gems that lead excited writers to spit out clichés like, “This track just makes you want to get in the car and drive!” Though his recent releases – specifically, his Disco Cuts EP – have a heavier house influence, his new remix of Glen Check’s “Pacific” is the same summery indie dance that made us Faust fans years ago.
