If the Bingo Players‘ rework of Gorgon City exposed the UK pair to a main stage audience, the newest edit is tipping the scales in the other direction. The still-unreleased “Here For You” will now be joined by a Deetron remix primed to strike a chord with a more minimal minded set. Where the original deep house cut spilled over the edges of the genre with lush interludes and swirling layers, the newest rendition can best be described as house with a heavy tech slant. The Swiss low-end enthusiast kept the cymbals at the core, but constructed a mechanical melody around them, favoring instrumental to lyrical and isolating the vocal from its original ornamentation. Effectively extending the track’s bewitching hour into the gray area when night blends into day, Deetron’s remix will be released alongside the original and Bingo Players cut on June 15th.
