Trap-edit masterminds, Slander, switch gears on their latest unofficial edit, this time taking on the UK bass phenoms Gorgon City and their summer smash “Here for You.” In sharp contrast to their work on “When Will The Bass Drop,” the LA-based talents flip “Here for You” into cruise control, slowing the tempo to a crawl before sprinkling it with charming percussive touches. Subtle production cues and a subdued vibe compliment Laura Walsh’s sensual vocal lines with ease and make Slander’s edit one of our favorite reworks of the track to date.
