Nocturnal Wonderland to remain in Southern California; receives official dates and venue
Earlier this year, Pasquale Rotella announced plans to expand what remains of his Southern California legacy with the decision to relocate Nocturnal Wonderland and Beyond Wonderland to Las Vegas. In an effort to cater to the complaints heard from the SoCal Insomniac events, the decision sparked controversy amongst those adamant on retaining the Wonderland series tradition in the Golden State.
Despite the proximity of his brand’s largest event looming close, Rotella shifted the spotlight to his longest running event and took to his favored announcement channel once again to reveal that Nocturnal Wonderland will remain in Southern California’s San Manuel Amphitheater – but not without improvements. Focusing especially on the venue’s immense post-event traffic problem that many attendees voiced complaints about, the Insomniac chief explains that the festival aims to address the issue by lowering the event’s capacity.
Though the possibility of new Las Vegas editions of the Wonderland series remains, for now, fans can rest assured, Nocturnal Wonderland will return to the San Manuel Amphitheater and take place on September 5th and 6th. Stay tuned for more details.
Update: Camping will return to Nocturnal Wonderland 2014. Two and three-night ticket options are now available here.
