SFX creates Global Leadership Team, restructures company hierarchy

SFX Entertainment has announced a new executive management structure that integrates media, creative, e-commerce, and event assets around the world. The company also announced that all 10 directors have been reelected to serve another term by the stockholders of the company during their annual meeting that took place on June 5th, 2014.

Ritty van Straalen (COO), Timothy J. Crowhurst (President), Chris Stephenson (CMO) and Richard Rosenstein (CFO and CAO) will head up the newly formed executive management group reporting to Robert F.X. Sillerman (Chairman and CEO).


Joseph F. Rascoff will become the new Chairman of Live Entertainment as well as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and will step aside from his position as Chief Operating Officer that has been taken over by Ritty van Straalen the former COO and CEO of ID&T, who recently served as Managing Director of ID&T North America.

Timothy Crowhurst will remain as President and will have control of the media platform that includes Beatport and brand partnerships.

Chris Stephenson will continue in the role of Chief Marketing Officer with leadership of FX1, SFX’s in-house creative agency, content strategy and account management.

Richard Rosenstein, EVP and CEO of SFX, will also add the title of Chief Administrative Officer, which will allow him to head up human resources, information technology and administration.

Jacob Smid, previously VP Operations at ID&T North America, has been promoted to Van Straalen’s previous position of Managing Director of SFX North America.

The new CEO of SFX Europe, Duncan Stutterheim, one of the founders of ID&T.

Dror Erez, founding partner of Totem One Love, will assume the role of Head of SFX Australia.

Shelly Finkel assumes the new role of Chairman of Strategy and Development and will vacate his role as Vice Chairman.

Paul Greenberg, former President, will no longer be a part of the company.

Sillerman on the formation of the Global Leadership Team:
