Down With Webster – Chills (Shaun Frank Remix)
Two weeks after Trice Recordings reached their 50th release with Matisse & Sadko’s “Azonto,” the Armada sub label has continued its run of big room gems. Although not frequently reinvented by electronic music producers, Down With Webster lays the groundwork for Trice’s most recent offering while Toronto’s Shaun Frank is tasked with remix duties. Some of the original’s elements are left intact, but the glaring difference appears in the form of a melodic plateau that follows a drum laden buildup. The remix marks the Torontonian’s second release on Trice Recordings and sets the stage for Shaun Frank to begin his assent into the electronic music spotlight.
