In the same vein as previous remix duties for Chase & Status and Young Kato alike, British breakout and Ministry of Sound resident Nathan C reaffirms his stance on the melodic big room sound this month, commandeering his own take on Bakermat’s popular Sony crossover offering ‘One Day (Vandaag).’

Matching the original’s striking sax line with his own rising melodic tendencies, the follow-on to latest original offering ‘Bangers & Mash’ plays firmly into that ability to transform commercially viable tracks into outright dance floor weapons. Major labels may not always get it right, but their choice of remixer on this occasion shows yet more stamina to the leaps and bounds of Nathan C’s productions here in 2014.
