All eyes have been on The Chainsmokers since “Selfie” became one of the most echoed songs in pop culture, and the New York-based duo are now giving a glimpse into life after the sensation. Teasing what will be their next original production via Instagram comes a snippet of “Kanye.” The mere fragment debuts a vocal from Siren atop what’s presumed to be the track’s lead, and cuts out for anticipation, where one would assume introduction of a climax (and punchline). More than 15-seconds of “Kanye” is en route with its official release date slated for August 5th.
