Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike & W&W – Waves (Tomorrowland 2014 Anthem)

To be tapped for Tomorrowland’s anthem on any given year has been a coveted role for dance music producers. In the past, the festival has curated collaborations between the likes of Nervo and Afrojack for “The Way We See The World,” and has caught others such as Dada Life in joining Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike in receiving annual duties. Following last year’s “Chattahoochee” which took on the name of its American counterpart, the duo call on W&W for this year’s anthem. The choice for 2014 comes as no surprise as Willem and Ward have come a long way in claiming festival territory, and the resulting “Waves” follows suit in what’s been a monstrous year for both couples. Capturing the essence Tomorrowland with crisp, majestic synths in a big room manner, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and W&W pay an apt tribute to the double-weekend madness.
