Dirty South joins Astralwerks roster; new single ‘Unbreakable’ to be released in August
Deadmau5, Porter Robinson, Duke Dumont, Mat Zo, Tensnake and now Dirty South each share one thing in common – the record label they call their second home. Although he has consistently kept up the interaction with fans through social media, Dragan Roganovic has remained fairly quiet about his music the past few months. Now returning to the limelight over a year after his 2013 debut album, Speed of Life, Dirty South has discovered that dividing his time between his own imprint, Phazing Records, and Astralwerks may work in his favor.
Already more than halfway through 2014, Dirty South’s admittance to the Astralwerks family will also coincide with his first original production of the year, “Unbreakable,” to be released in August. A full-length album and mini film that was written, directed and shot in Los Angeles by the man himself will also arrive later in the year. While his sophomore piece is still untitled, the Australia-based producer’s forthcoming work is expected to accentuate the blending of electronic, indie, and alternative to create sounds far removed from his “City of Dreams” days.
