Jaz von D may be celebrating his first release on Mixmash‘s Ones To Watch offshoot, but he definitely isn’t new to the realm of rising stars. The Dutch producer first caught the ear of Laidback Luke back in 2011 before Ones To Watch was even a compilation and has had eyes firmly on him ever since. “Fear of Silence” is his latest achievement, and its tribal-edged progressive proves a festival-ready way to conquer that fear. A cascading intro gets swept into more machine-based builds before an unexpected vocal claims the middle third of the track. A happy return to the Mixmash family after 2012’s “Rave Nation,” “Fear of Silence” is available now.
