Much like their last release on Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings, Martin Volt & Quentin State‘s newest original mix arrives on Beatport with quite a bit of fanfare in tow. Premiered by the label’s founder at Ultra Music Festival, the original mix steers clear of the pair’s melodic tendencies in favor of a much darker tone. “Rush” immediately employs a synth that holds nothing back as the first of three plateaus come and go.
