SBTRKT announces first single from new album and international tour, ‘Wonder Where We Land’
SBTRKT is back, and quickly taking the Internet by storm with a grand reveal of the next chapter of his musical catalogue. Premiered on Annie Mac, Aaron Jerome’s first preview of his upcoming project is “New Dorp, New York.” A minimal bass beat underlines a jazzy vocal flow from Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend, a more than subtle change that may outline a new direction for SBTRKT’s previously heavy, indie dub style.
“New Dorp, New York” is one of fifteen tracks of SBTRKT’s second album, Wonder Where We Land, and will be instantly available upon pre-order. Beyond titles, the album’s track list reveals six additional Deluxe Edition cuts and several compelling collaborations, including “Voices in My Head” with ASAP Ferg and “Problem Solved” featuring Jessie Ware.
Along with the new album title and track list, SBTRKT has laid his entire touring schedule out for eager fans in North America and Europe. Kicking off in the UK this September, the British producer has unveiled an extensive run across both continents throughout fall. Take a look at stops below.
